In December 2018, I shared my story from investment banker to social impact entrepreneur at the Rotary eClub 2000 meeting. From climbing Kilimanjaro to cycling from Cairo to Cape Town, all the way the through Africa, my personal adventures have had a profound impact on me. I experienced the exploitation of human life in tourism and the unjustified prejudice that people still hold about Africa and lower income countries. I wanted to help more travellers go on conscious trips to Africa and experience the beauty, safety and warmth of the continent with their own eyes and hearts.
